How to transfer clubs if you do not have an active membership.
Member Guide – Transferring Clubs
You need to have an active Club membership to transfer to another Club. If your membership has been lapsed for over one year you can manually apply for a transfer by contacting admin@athlteticsireland.ie. Please note, it is advisable to discuss the transfer with your current and potential new club before starting the transfer process below.
Spring Transfer Window 2024
The Spring Transfer Window is open from March 1st to March 20th for Athletes to initiate transfers.
Clubs can login from March 1st to March 23rd to either approve or decline transfers.
County Boards have access from April 1st to April 30th to approve or decline transfers.
Adding a New Membership to your account
If you have an existing login or an existing membership, you can add other memberships, such as family members to your account.
Automatic Discounted Membership Renewal
If your Club offers discounts for membership renewals (e.g. Family Discount), in order for you to avail of the discount automatically, you must complete the renewal as one transaction.
How to Join a Club
To become a member of an Athletics Ireland Club, you can do so by visiting membership.athleticsireland.ie and following the steps in this guide.
