What to do if I see that there are members in my club who are presenting as “unpaid” in Unpaid Club Members in the club dashboard.
Why are some of the club members appearing as “unpaid”?
There are 2 components to Athletics’ Ireland Membership.
- The first is the Federation fee which is a set standard fee paid to Athletics Ireland.
- The second component is the Club Fee. This is set by each club and logged in the system as “Club Products”
When a club member presents as “unpaid” and appears in orange on the system, this lets club officials know that the Federation component has been paid but the Club component has not yet been marked as paid by the club.
The new member should be sent a payment link to complete the Club payment.
Note: even if a club member is receiving a complimentary membership, there is a requirement to mark them as paid to ensure that their status is live within the Athletics Ireland system.
When you will need to mark you club members as paid/assign a club product:
- If a new club member has transferred into your club you will need to assign a new club membership product from your club.
- If your club does not collect club membership fees through the Athletics Ireland platform
How to assign a club product and mark your club members as paid:
Go to the Unpaid Club Members section.
For clubs that do not use the platform to collect club payments, you can select the required members you would like to mark as paid and then select the Mark as Paid Button.

For clubs that collect club fees through the platform you can click on view for the selected member.

The Add Club Membership button will appear in the Memberships Summary tab for the new member.

Select the Membership product you want to add to the profile and click Continue.

Select what payment method you would like to use to complete the process or override the price to zero to complete the process without taking a payment.
